It’s easy to get into a casting rut. We get it! You know who you like to work with, and while you’d love to find new actors and cast a wider net, casting is time-consuming and complex. Bringing the right blend of brains together breeds artistic innovation. To evolve as producers, you need to bring new brains into the room.
At Rogue Projects, we believe in opening doors to ‘invisible artists’, those exceptional talents you haven’t come across yet, because they haven’t had the opportunities, and you haven’t had the time or resources to find them. We can help.
Rogue Projects has been running accessible and open casting processes since our inception. We have good relationships with agents, access to space, and a flexible pricing model to meet the needs of budget conscious independent producers wanting to deliver decent profit shares back to the people making the art.
We can run a casting exercise for the value of a profit-share or up-front fee equal to what you’re paying your artists. We won’t ask for a cent more. We’ll be part of the team on the same terms as everyone else. Our only conditions are that at least 50% of roles are cast through audition (that is, no more than 50% of roles are cast via direct offer without auditioning), and we can see the budget before committing to the project.
